        <description><![CDATA[Team owners can purchase plans to upgrade their XQ accounts and add additional XQ products to their team's Dashboard. This article provides steps for upgrading your XQ account.<br /> 
<b>Step 1: </b> Select your team from the drop-down list at the top right of the XQ Dashboard.

<b>Step 2:</b> Click your username and select <b>Account &amp; Billing</b> from the drop-down menu.

<b>Step 3:</b> On the Settings page, click <b>Billing</b>.<br />

<b>Step 4:</b> Click <b>View Solutions</b> to view upgrade options.<br />

<div><b>Note:</b> The <b>View Solutions</b> option is not available unless you have the SuperUser (Owner) role. Only account Owners can purchase upgrades. <b>Step 5:</b> From the XQ pricing page, review the available solutions and click <b>Talk To An Expert</b> or <b>Chat With Us</b> if you wish to speak to the Sales team. 

If you do not wish to speak to the Sales team, click the <b>Small Businesses tab</b> at the top of the screen to purchase an upgrade product. 

<b>Step 6:</b> Use the Product tabs to select your upgrade.

<b>Step 7:</b> Choose the number of seats you'd like to purchase and select a billing frequency. The available billing frequencies are <b>Monthly</b> and <b>Yearly</b>.

<b>Step 8:</b> Click  under the Plan you wish to purchase. If you are purchasing an Enterprise plan, click <b>Talk To An Expert</b> to connect with a member of the Sales team.

<b>Step 9:</b> Fill out all of the required fields on the <b>Your Information</b> page and click <b>CONTINUE TO PAYMENT</b>. 

<b>Step 10:</b> On the Payment Details page, provide your payment information and confirm your upgrade details. Click <b>PURCHASE PLAN</b> when you are finished.
<div><b>Note:</b> If you are purchasing a trial, the total price will be $0.00. See the <b>Renews at</b> date on this page to confirm when you will be charged the full price for your plan. </div>

<b>Step 11:</b> Click <b>BUILD YOUR TEAM</b> to navigate back to the XQ Dashboard and begin to add team members.

        <description><![CDATA[When creating and using Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Data Access Control (DAC) Policies, some limitations exist. This article provides an overview of the existing limitations. We recommend communicating these limitations to your admins and end-users to avoid unforeseen issues.<br />

<h2>Outlook Limitations</h2>
<div><b>Note: </b>End-users must be logged in for data protection policies to work. If an end-user is not logged in, data is not protected. </div>
DAC Policies function properly on all versions of Outlook. To avoid Outlook limitations for DLP Policies, end-users must use the <b>Secure Send</b> button in Outlook. 
<br />The following limitations apply when the end-user uses the existing <b>Send</b> button in Outlook, rather than the Secure Send button:
<ul>
<li>Policies only work in Outlook if Outlook is installed using the <b>manifest link installation method</b>. Policies will not work if you install using the Outlook add-in store installation method. For instructions on installation using the manifest link, see the <b>Recommended - Install using a manifest link</b> section in <b><a rel="nofollow" href="https://community.xqmsg.com/discussion/75/how-to-install-the-xq-secure-outlook-add-in/p1">How to Install the XQ Secure Outlook Add-In</a></b>.</li>

<li>AutoEncrpyt Policies do not work if you install using the Outlook add-in store installation method. To avoid this limitation, install using the <b><a rel="nofollow" href="https://community.xqmsg.com/discussion/75/how-to-install-the-xq-secure-outlook-add-in/p1">manifest link installation method</a></b>.</li>  

<li> We cannot guarantee that all Policies work in the mobile browser or in the desktop client. This is a known Microsoft issue regarding how Outlook clients execute the <b>Send</b> function. There is no clear timeline for resolution from Microsoft to fix this limitation.</li>

<h2>Google Chrome Extension Limitations</h2>
<div><b>Note: </b>End-users must be logged in for data protection policies to work. If an end-user is not logged in, data is not protected. </div>
DAC Policies function properly on all versions of the Google Chrome Extension.
<br />The following limitation applies to the Google Chrome Extension:

        <description><![CDATA[<p>Users with an assigned seat/license can encrypt email messages and files through XQ. These seats can be assigned to any <strong>User</strong> or <strong>Super User</strong> in your account. </p><p>Team members without an assigned seat can only decrypt messages or view certain sections in the XQ Dashboard. To learn more about team members, see <a href="https://community.xqmsg.com/discussion/104/how-to-add-multiple-team-members/p1" rel="nofollow">How to Add Team Members</a>.</p><p>Team owners can purchase upgrades for their XQ accounts. For more information on upgrades, see <a href="https://community.xqmsg.com/discussion/153/how-to-upgrade/p1?new=1" rel="nofollow">How to Upgrade</a>.</p><h2>Purchase seats for your account</h2><p>Before assigning seats to users, ensure that you have a sufficient number of seats available. Refer to the following steps to check the number of seats available to your team.</p><p><strong>Step 1: </strong>Select your team from the drop-down list at the top right of the XQ Dashboard.</p><p><strong>Step 2: </strong>Click your username and select <strong>Account &amp; Billing </strong>from the drop-down menu.</p><p><strong>Step 3: </strong>On the Settings page, click <strong>Billing</strong>.</p><p><strong>Step 4: </strong>Under the <strong>Communications Business </strong>section, you can view the existing seats available in your account. To add more, click <strong>Upgrade Plan </strong>and follow the prompts to purchase your desired amount of seats.</p><h2><strong>Add and remove seats</strong></h2><p>After adding seats, you can assign them to any team member designated as a <strong>User</strong> or <strong>Super Use</strong>r. Refer to the following steps to add and remove seats from your account.</p><p><strong>Step 1: </strong>Ensure you are on the correct Team Dashboard and click the <strong>Team</strong> tab from the Dashboard navigation menu.</p><p>You will see a list of existing team members, and a <strong>Seats Remaining </strong>status. Users with existing seats will have a greyed-out checkbox on the right-hand side of their user details.</p><p><strong>Step 2: </strong>Click <strong>MANAGE PAID USERS </strong>on the Team page.</p><p><br /></p><div>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>Hello,</p><p>I installed the plugin for the G Suite. When opening an XQ encrypted message I am presented with the dashboard, but nothing else:</p><div>

<p>If I click the back button in the upper left corner, I am told to open an XQ message. If I close the opened email and re-open it, I am present with the dashboard again.</p><p>If I open my dashboard in xqmsg.com it tells me I have no messages and nothing to see and should start using a plugin.</p><p>And yes, I am logged in with the same (gmail) mail account in xq, as in google.</p><p><br /></p><p>If I am using Chrome and install the Chrome plugin, I am able to see the attachments but no message. The dashboard still shows nothing. At the moment this is unusable for Gmail for me.</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>Once a message is created, it must be encrypted. XQ&rsquo;s process begins with retrieving quantum entropy from the XQ quantum server to either be used as the secret key for the encryption or as a seed for generating a new key pair. After the quantum entropy is received, the encryption is configured using a selected cryptographic library, such as OpenSSL. Next, the user is validated via the subscription server, returning a pre-auth token. The account is either confirmed via confirmation email or via API call with associated PIN from email and pre-auth token. Once the account is activated, the pre-auth token is submitted to the subscription server to receive an access token. The key is then submitted to the server with the access token and the recipient address. An encrypted packet is received which is then submitted along with the same access token to the validation server. The packet is verified and a locator token is returned, which will be used by the recipient to request the key.</p><div>
